Roushan Yau, after his first European event has returned home the Czech Open champion. This could be considered his best ever competition, especially considering his overcame two tough 5 set matches to reach the final. His Semi final, were Roshan won 11-9 in the 5th was against the european number 9 and tournament top seed, Paul Mairinger from Austria. This was a great win which he followed with a 3-0 win in the final against Martin Kegel from Croatia.

This is the third tournament win this Month for Roushan as he previously won the County under 13 championships and the County Senior d grade event.  This months successes are largely down to the extra work he has done in addition to the elite squash sessions and individual lessons. The british open also taught him a lot especially in the areas of intelligent pace variation and use of more severe kill shots.

Congratulations Roushan!
